Yumi FM

Yumi FM was developed in 1997 as PNG FM's second national commercial radio station. The stations format is based around PNG popular music and Adult Contemporary Western music. Broadcasting in Pidgin - the main language used in Papua New Guinea, Yumi FM has a target demographic by age of 18 - 40 plus, focused on the "grass roots" section of the market.

The station format is 70's - 90's easy listening, Adult Contemporary, and Local hits with a strong community face.  With its program format, professional team, on air presentation, and its broadcast language, Yumi FM is PNG's most listened to radio station* in Papua New Guinea. In fact, recent media surveys suggest it is THE MEDIUM with the biggest reach of any form of media in PNG with a daily audience of well over 1.5 million people.
